Community Planting Event

In AP Environmental Science we learn about the environment so that we, as educated citizens can learn how to make a difference in the community around us and in the world. We investigate the interrelationships of living things, identify and analyze environmental issues, and examine solutions for resolving or preventing environmental problems. Working with environmental professionals, we participate in investigations to better understand natural systems, learn about leading edge green careers, and make a positive difference by participating in ongoing eco-projects. This is a college-level course and those who pass the Advanced Placement exam in May will earn college credit.

Those wanting more information can contact Mrs. Hillyard at jhillyard@nvusd.org or stop by Room D102 at ACHS to learn about community service events and how to enroll in the class.
